Kiyoto
Kachikoma Kiyoto is a very small brewery, producing only a few hundred koku per year. The brewery is a "handmade" brewery where the brewer himself is involved in all processes.
The name "Kachikoma" comes from the fact that the first brewer, who returned from the Russo-Japanese War in 1906 (the year after the war ended), opened a sake brewery in his hometown of Takaoka City and named it "Kachikoma" to commemorate his victory in the Russo-Japanese War.
