I was having a drink at the restaurant when I saw a customer who came in because he saw this from outside. He drank it because he said he couldn't stand it, so I got in on the fun.
Unlike the dry, light sake often found in Niigata, the taste of rice lingers in the bottle...just as the customer said. It was very easy to drink, with a full rice flavor and no lingering alcohol taste at all.
I later tried it hot, and the smooth aftertaste and delicious rice flavor were wonderful.
