I've had junmai daiginjo before, but this is my first time drinking junmai ginjo.
but this is my first Junmai Ginjo.
Domestic rice polished to 60%, 14% alcohol by volume.
When the simple aluminum cap is opened, the sound of the bottle being opened is mp and ps🎵.
Oh, it looks pretty good!
A closer look at the label tells me it's a draft sake.
Pour it into a glass and you can see microbubbles at the bottom!
The top aroma is sweet and tasty, honey apple 🍎.
A little malted rice taste is different from Jun Dai 🤔.
When I drank it, it was different from my expectation of sweetness.
What jumped out at me was the acidity ❗️
I think it's partly because of the chili sensation.
Compared to Jun Dai, which has a strong sweet taste, Jun Gin has a particularly strong acidity.
Of course, it is sweet.
There is also a moderate bitterness in the finish.
I can drink it without being over-sweetened.
I think I like it a lot.
You'd think the Jun Dai would be better.
That's not true.
They both have different personalities and are both delicious.
