This sake seemed to stand out at the store, and when I went there the week before, it had not been opened yet, but it was already almost gone. Good thing there was still some left!
So let's drink.
The aroma is mildly bitter and slightly matured. The production date is November 2022, but the brewing year is 3BY (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022).
The taste is mildly sweet and delicious, with a hint of bitterness. Then, there is more blah, blah, blah. This is strong!
It's strong, so it's not a little thing. It's not a small thing, but it's a short story of something much scarier. It is clearly very strong.
In the second half, the sweet, bitter, high alcohol content is overwhelming the palate with the no-holds-barred umami flavor.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, it would be the dimension of "Cagliostro's Castle. A cool, austere old man. An outlaw life full of bitterness and alcohol. But there is a sweetness and strength to enjoy it.
