Tonight I will drink a small bottle of Naraman Junmai at home! I had a bottle of Naraman during my visit to Koriyama last week, but it was quite different from this one. That's no wonder! The other day it was Junmai Ginjo Mirai Sake and the rice used was different! The Mirai Sake rice was that Takagi Shuzo's Jyushiyo sake rice, which seems to be a rare Naraman. This time, the rice used was the Nara-man royal road rice, Gohyakumangoku rice. It has a spicy taste with a punch. The aroma of rice comes afterwards. It is quite powerful. I drank it with small bowls of side dishes such as tuna with natto (fermented soybeans), kelp and deep-fried tofu salad, and grated radish with chirimenjako (dried young sardines), and it really went well with them! The 300ml bottle is just under 2 gou (2 cups) and just right without being too much!
