Aizu Shurakukan Watanabe Sota Shoten, a sake store in Aizuwakamatsu City, offers a limited edition sake for the hanpukai.
The aroma is softly lactic banana and slightly bitter leesiness.
On the palate, the soft acidity is mild. In the mouth, there is a soft acidity with a hint of sweetness and umami. It has a gentle origami flavor. It tastes good in a gentle way.
After that, the sweet and umami taste comes out again, and the bitterness of the lees is gradually released.
It is a gentle child after all. However, it is not thin, but has a solid core. This is my favorite type. It soothes me.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, she would be like Sita from "Castle in the Sky. She is kind, positive, and good. Not only is she kind, but she has a solid core that won't be drawn to armies or pirates.
