Let the posts begin today. This is a sake that was in the sake cellar for a while. It is a sake brewed in the mid-mountainous region of the Shikoku Mountains by the local brewer's rice, Gin no Mumu, and nature's high rainfall and good water quality. This sake won a platinum award in the Junmai Daiginjo & Junmai Ginjo Sake category at the 2018 Sake KuraMaster in Paris. It's certainly mellow and slightly bitter, but the taste changes with the change in temperature and can be enjoyed. The name "Katsuragi" is said to have been taken from the poet Keigetsu Omachi.
