Tonight is my first home drinking post in a few days. It's been a while since I woke up to a limited edition from this brewery that has been sitting for a year and a half 🤩.
Sancho Hanakairo Limited Edition Yamadanishiki 2022 ✨
From the standing aroma, it is mild with a hint of pear and lactic acidity 😌.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel a little bit of gas, a little bit of matured caramel sweetness and umami, and a bit of bitter dryness. It is bitter and dry, but the overall quality of the sake is dry. (I think it was the mark of the sake yeast from the back etiquette😅)
It was very good with sashimi and grilled fish, perfect for aperitifs and mid-meal drinks 😋😋😋😋😋😋.
