This time, I bought this brightly labeled Tenmei from my usual liquor store. It's a blend of the first half of the year, so it's a good mix. I guess.
I usually write reviews as I drink them, but yesterday I drank it while talking with a friend, so this is a post-review impression. So, I don't remember much...
The first thing I want to say is that it is delicious. It's a Tenmei, so I guess it is. It is a medium blend, so if I had drunk it in order from No. 1, I might have been able to understand more about it. Slightly cloudy. The balance is perfect, neither sweet nor spicy, and it is easy to swallow. Rather than being crisp and clean, it is clear but with a strong presence. This is the kind of sake I like. I tried it with meat and fish, and it was good. It is a limited edition, so it may not be available in stores anymore, but I recommend it.
