Today is Sake Day.
This is the second restaurant to participate in the Osaka Go-Around.
(1) Iwatsuki & Wataya
My plan was to start from 1) Neon and make a compact tour, but everyone was thinking the same thing and there were many people waiting in line.
So we decided to go south and walked along Tenjinbashisuji shopping street.
I found a participating store in the back alley.
Junmai sake from Wataya.
It has a smooth mouthfeel with little aroma.
It has a thick taste with a clear acidity and a light apricot flavor.
The aftertaste is light and refreshing. The aftertaste is refreshing.
Fish paitan soup as a soup stock.
I thought it was too simple, but the fish broth was soothing and delicious.
The nameko mushrooms that were added along with the soup were smooth and a perfect match for the Wataya!
It was a perfect match with Wataya!
And speaking of Wataya, Kawaguchi natto (fermented soybeans).
This time with Miyamanishiki, a red-labeled classic,
and the 10th anniversary yellow-labeled Sasanishiki.

The refreshing rice flavor of Sasanishiki is the base, with bright acidity and a light apricot flavor. The taste is lighter than the Wataya from earlier, with a lighter acidity.
Paired with cold tofu with Kawaguchi natto sauce since we are here💕.
Before entering the restaurant, I honestly thought that I was going to drink it with soup? I honestly thought I was going to drink with soup before I entered the restaurant, but it is a relaxing and peaceful place.
They have a great selection of heated sake, I'll come back next time ^ ^.
