My favorite liquor store started carrying Kawanakajima and I immediately bought it 😆 First time drinking it at home ✨.
It has a sweet and gorgeous heady aroma. It's a nigori sake, so it has a strong umami and bitterness, but it has a moderate sweetness and acidity that keeps it from being cloying.
It's not a modern sake, but I felt it's a traditional and genuinely delicious sake 😄.
