It was the first time for me to go into a rice shop "Maihomu" in Chikusa. I asked for a sake that would go well with rice, and they served me Asahi Kiku. On this day, we had sashimi of mackerel, deep-fried kelp with baby kelp, and simmered sea bream. It was certainly a sake with a good flavor that went well with the dishes, without being too assertive. It was not too spicy, so it was easy to drink. It was served hot.
