Mitsui no Kotobuki!
The town of Tachiarai, Mitsui County, Fukuoka Prefecture, is said to be named Mitsui (mii) because of three excellent wells.
The brewery was founded in 1922, and the author of Slam Dunk, Mr. Inoue, liked this sake so much that he named it Mitsui Kotobuki (みついヒさし).
For +14, the brewer, Mr. Inoue, has now created a sake with an alcohol content and sake level of 14, named after Mitsui's back number, and with the author's permission, the label has also been made to Slam Dunk specifications.
The story of the brewery on the Sake Prince's YouTube channel is interesting.
I was on a business trip to Tokyo and got it at Hasegawa shop, so here I am, finally watching THE FIRST SLAM DUNK! It was great! Goosebumps! Cheers! Go Japan!
The aroma is mild,
The rounded mouthfeel is clean, sharp, and dry, with a depth of flavor that not only flows smoothly,
It's as if Mitsui's threesome has been spontaneously decided.
It is cool and refreshing!
It is easy to drink even though it is a very dry sake, and even when heated it is delicious with a mildly tasty rice flavor!
