Ichinokura玉結び 純米吟醸
AKI
This sake is made from 100% Sasanishiki rice, the pride of Miyagi Prefecture. Sasanishiki" was once often seen as a high-class rice, but recently it seems to have been overpowered by a newer rice, and is not seen very often (^^;).
The aroma is a little peculiar, with a full-bodied aroma of rice. We had it with sashimi, and it has a flavor similar to that of white wine, so it would go well with Italian dishes such as carpaccio and pasta. It may be a good food wine.
