I saw it raved about on one of the liquor store's instagram and was interested in it, but when I saw it in person, I had to jack it up. One of the coolest labels of the year.
The aroma is caramel-y, chocolate-y, sweets-y. It's quite unique.
It is quite sweet. Because the sweetness is strong, the sourness is also felt, but it is not noticeable.
The sweetness remains until the aftertaste, and the bitterness is added at the end to finish. The sweetness remains on the tongue.
It's a very sweet sake, so I'm a little worried about whether it will go well with the nabe pot we're having for dinner tonight.
