I have wanted to drink Hououmida for a long time. I bought it because the new Soban was released.
The Hououmida Hiyoroshi that I bought before that is still unopened. I will open this one around New Year's.
The aroma is as strong as its reputation. It has a stronger aroma than Hanamup. As the description says, it has a ripe muscat aroma. It tastes like ripe fruit in the mouth. The sweet and sour taste comes afterwards, and then it is cut off quickly. The fruitiness is similar to that of Raifuku's pineapple, but Hououmida has more sweetness than acidity. Raifuku's pineapple has a stronger sourness.
This strong sense of mellow umakuchi is modern and popular. It has a stronger fruitiness than Senkou, even though they are both from Tochigi. I prefer this one.
