The aroma is somewhat mild, but reminiscent of apples.
The gaseous mouthfeel is followed by a soft nigori derived rice flavor and sweetness. The acidity at the end, typical of Kouei-Kiku, is moderate, with a lingering bitterness, and the low alcohol content and gasiness make for a light and refreshing finish.
