I bought this on a trip to Toyama and brought it home. As it popped when I opened the bottle, it has a gassy and fruity aroma. When you take it to your mouth, the clear and beautiful sweetness is impressive. It is a carefully crafted sake with little miscellaneous flavor. It was worth the trouble of carrying it in a cooler bag with ice.

When I drank it after a period of abstinence from alcohol for a medical checkup after opening the bottle, the gas was completely gone and it tasted flat and mainly sweet...
I could understand how the subtle bitterness, acidity, and texture from the carbon dioxide gas affected the overall flavor, and it reminded me of other brands, so I learned a lot. The label says it is a "nama-shu," so it is best to finish it within a few days.
