Ooh, this is good 😋 Juicy goodness with complex flavors! Ahh I was surprised.
I thought it would be "Kamikawa Daisetsu" that would paint Hokkaido, but I bought "Ezonokuma" recommended by a liquor store! Okay, great answer!
The rice used is called "Kitashizuku" and it seems to be a new sake rice from Hokkaido that has been around for a couple of years.
It is a rice that has a genealogy with Omachi, and is said to have a clear yet complex flavor.
I liked this bear 🐻❄️ as much or more than the Oze snowmelt! I have a feeling it's going to climb the rankings!
I paired it with a few different cheeses, and they all matched, but the Colby Jack cheese was an awesome match!
