It has been a long time since I have posted. I've been drinking, but I've been slacking off in this heat.
Today is my first Hakusen in six months.
This brand is my favorite and I drink it regularly, but this is the first time I have seen this label.
I checked the brewery's home page again.
It was a classic sake.
First, let's open the bottle. The sake was well heated, but it was very strong. When I poured it into the sake bottle, I was surprised to find that it was yellowish in color.
The aroma was naturally mild, and the usual green apple flavor was very slight. The taste is sweet as usual, but again, the bitterness and pungency are very moderate. The acidity is slight. The taste is similar to Mutsu Otokoyama, another brand of this brewery, and has a slightly classic feel.
This sake would be delicious served cold with a pot of hot pot on a chilly night.
