I went on a trip to Aizu to dissipate after 6 consecutive working days!
Yesterday, I took the time to enjoy Inawashiro (Kamegajo Castle and Dozu Shrine) and Tsurugajo Castle. After all, I feel at home in familiar places👍.
And at dinner at the inn, I saw the word "Izumigawa"! I don't know what the specs are, but it's the one I've been longing for.
The aroma is gorgeous and floral, with hints of apple and pear.
It has a beautiful minerality on the palate, and the sweet, spicy, and bitter flavors are well balanced without being too assertive. However, the umami is stronger than that of "Tobiroki" and it is juicy and delicious ✨.
The umami lineage gives the impression of being like "Miyazumi"!
It was a supreme combination with the carp wash 😌.
