Cod milt from Niigata Prefecture was on the table. My husband soaked it in sake (honor Kunimitsu) to get rid of the smell, then boiled it and poured ponzu on it. Tonight, I went to Ichimasu-ya with a friend who loves sake. Tonight I opened a bottle of Sougen Hatsu Shibori Junmai Nama Genshu, which I got when I went to Ichimusuya with a friend I love the other day. It's delicious! I love this flavor. It's clean and sweet, but not too sweet. Great! It went perfectly with the mild Shirako Ponzu! I also paired it with Ikufudo's cured ham, which was also great. Today I was even happier to see my favorite friend for the first time in years. What a good day (and what a bad day!). What a good day (and a bad day too!)!
