I didn't realize that out of all the different kinds of sake I drank on my business trip to Sendai, including local sake, the one that left the biggest impression on me was the local Hyogo sake! LOL!
It is Takezumi's Nasuikon, Yamahai Junmai Sake.
This is the first time for me to drink this aubergine.
The rice polishing ratio is 70%, this light amber-colored sake has a sharpness that is not typical of junmai-shu, while retaining the strength typical of junmai-shu, and it has a clean aftertaste.
It's delicious!
And speaking of Sendai, it is served with Hoya (sea squirt)...
It's delicious!
It was called "Vintage", but it has a very vintage feeling. (2017BY)
This is one of my favorite junmai sakes I've ever had! (The number one spot for Oroku will never change!)
