This time it was a gift.
Kubota was a sake that I had often only heard of by name since I was young.
I think this is the second time I've had it since it was revamped. I thought it might not be to my liking, as I like sweet sake, but when I tried it, I was surprised. It was more clear and refreshing than spicy.
I let it sit for 2 days after opening the bottle and drank the rest of the bottle. The spiciness mellowed out and became closer to my liking, and I really enjoyed it.
