Hagi no Tsuru from the same brewery is light and refreshing, while Hiwada's famous sake is like a sake that demands serious effort from the drinker.
It has a strange taste with no core. Not in a bad way, but a very soft taste that softly collapses like light snow and soaks up the umami on the tongue. The umami aftertaste is gradually stronger, and the flavor keeps shifting from beginning to end, making it very enjoyable.
You may be a bit surprised to learn that this is a Miyagi sake and that it is made using the same yeast as the original, but we urge you to try it for yourself.
