I didn't notice much of an aroma, perhaps my nose wasn't up to par.
The slightly sweet, robust umami is impressive.
The acidity and bitterness are only a subtle complement to the sake, and are not impressive when drunk smoothly.
I had it with sashimi, but it is a delicious sake that shines both on its own and with a meal.
I think it is a characteristic of Tohoku sake that it can assert itself while enhancing the quality of seafood.
