Today I drank Sotenden (Special Junmai Sake) from Otokoyama in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture.
It's been a couple of years since I've had Sotenden. I drank it with grilled scallops and clams, and it went well with them, probably because it is a sake from a port town. Even with seafood, it had no peculiarity, was clear, and could be drunk easily. It tasted better than when I drank it before, and I got the impression that it had gone up a level!
