It's time for heated sake 🍶.
So I bought some Shinkame!
And it's a four year old Yamahai sake!
Not much color, just a hint of yellow!
The aroma is... the aroma of Shinkame (those who have had it know what I mean, right?)
First, I'll have it with hiya 😋.
The mouthfeel is mild, with nuts🥜 and caramel.
Then comes the spiciness with a kick!
Let's have it hot and topped up like the sake shop owner told us to!
The strong nutty and caramel taste is gone, and it tastes smooth and soupy.
There is a spiciness at the end, but it's much easier to drink now 😳.
Personally, I can't get rid of the unique flavor of hiya 😂.
