This brand was highly recommended by the owner of the sake shop (my uncle). This series, named after the toji's age, has continued for 19 years since the former toji started "28 years old spring" as the culmination of one year's work!
However, he retired at the end of "Spring of Age 46" and the series came to an end.
The current brewer, in response to strong requests from fans of the series to restart it, has relaunched it as "48-Sai no Sakura".
Incidentally, this "~'sakura" is a draft sake for spring shipment, but there is also a fire-aged type called "~'sokoro" 🍶.
This year, the aged "49 years old heart" should be available in stores from this month...
I haven't gotten my hands on it yet, but if I find it, I'll make love to you and buy it.
