Since the space in the refrigerator is running low, I decided to drink the oldest sake first.
Today's sake is Tasake Junmai-shu.
I've been consciously trying not to hoard sake lately, but I feel uneasy if I don't have at least 10 bottles. I guess this is a common thing for sake and wine drinkers😃.
I try to fill more than half of mine with food, especially if I'm using Lemacom, because I'm a hoarder.
Now, as for the Tasake, my impression is that it is surprisingly sweet and has a bitter taste. It is like a more balanced type among the balanced types. I remember that when I bought it, I was told that the rice was milled to a flat ratio, and I wonder if that is the reason why I don't feel any bitterness and have a refreshing impression for a 70% rice.
Anyway, it was delicious and cheap, as I recall. For someone like me with a small allowance, it was a very good sake.
It was a delicious sake that made me want to buy it again next year 😊.
