As always, but one of my favorites.
And it is Ichini's favorite rice in this series.
It's been probably 2 years since I've had it, and it is still sweet and juicy. but this rice still has a clean taste, acidity and bitterness. It goes in easily for a sake that is very drinkable.
Today's dish is tsukudani (food boiled down in soy sauce) with daikon leaves. I paired it with a tsukudani of daikon leaves and hawk's claw, and it was quite good together.
I am glad I do not have high blood pressure.
