The new sake season had arrived and was in stock at our neighborhood liquor store.
There was a vent hole drilled in the top of the lid, and I was told that the carbonation was quite strong, so I opened the bottle while turning the lid to release the gas little by little.
The bottle was opened without overflowing, so I poured it into a flute glass and tasted it.
Since one-third of the sake is nigori, I thought it would be quite sweet, but it was rich but moderately sweet and went down my throat more refreshingly than I expected.
I would like to compare it with other nigori sakes, as my local liquor store has a variety of delicious nigori sakes in stock now.
