It is robustly sweet! Like a sweet liqueur or something. But it is very comfortable to drink because it is naturally sweet and not chunky. Just a little sourness and bitterness. The aroma is a bit like wine? The aroma is unique, with a hint of koji (malted rice) in the mix. When I paired it with grilled cheese, it was like quattro formaggi. A very interesting sake.
