Hakurakusei Special Junmai (Miyagi)
As the sake brewery clearly states, this is the ultimate food sake. I haven't had any other specs, but as a special junmai, it is refreshing and light. It doesn't get in the way of the meal, and has a nice blank space that makes you want to eat meat, fish, simmered dishes, and many other things with it. We had it with seafood, and it was perfect. However, if you drink it by itself, you may feel a lack of it. Next time, I'll drink it hot with oden or in a pot.
