Not that it was anything special, but I opened a bottle of Tobiroki because I didn't have anything else to open.
Last month, when I was out shopping with my sake master, we went to Izumiya in Koriyama to pick up some Tobiroki. Well, maybe it was his divine power.
I don't feel much of the toitatekoso.
The mouthfeel is clean and dry, with some umami and a nice sharpness from the acidity, but that's all.
There is nothing outstanding. It may be made flat, but it has no distinctive or interesting characteristics.
I like Jungin Black Label or Kasumi Sake, but I have a stupid tongue and a stupid nose, so it tastes very ordinary to me.
It's the brand that completely changed my view of sake, so I'm kind of going to miss it.
I know this may sound a bit arrogant, but it is a hard-to-find normal-tasting sake....
Thank you for the treat!
