My eldest daughter decided to take my wife and I to a hot spring!
We chose a reputable inn in Ishiwa Onsen, Yamanashi Prefecture.
I had only ever had one sake from Yamanashi Prefecture, so I went to a sake shop and bought a bottle of Shichiken Junmai Daiginjo, the No. 1 sake in Sakegawa Yamanashi Prefecture, and checked in.
I talked with the owner of the sake store, and it seems that Yamanashi Meikozo is the sole winner among the sake breweries in Yamanashi Prefecture!
Junmai Daiginjo Shogobin for 1,650 yen is a very reasonable price!
The taste is a little sweet, with a strong ginjo aroma.
It would be better not to chill it too much.
Relaxing ♨️ with good food and hot spring at a nice inn.
extensive knowledge
This Junmai Daiginjo is brewed in Hakushu, the village of famous water, with water from the underground streams of Mt. The fruity aroma characteristic of daiginjos is somewhat subdued, as we want it to be enjoyed with everyday meals. It is recommended as a mid-meal sake, as it has a refreshing and clean taste without being showy.
