Aroma
The aroma is clear, but soft and fluffy.
The aroma is not strong, but it has a gorgeous alcoholic aroma that is typical of the original sake.
However, this aroma has a very sweet taste, and it is not harsh, but pleasant.
Taste
Smooth on the palate with an alcoholic taste.
The aroma was subdued, but the taste was surprisingly rich.
The taste of apples, melon, and muscat after the alcohol.
Sweetness and umami of rice. Sweet rice cake.
Little acidity.
Slight bitterness.
Sweet and mellow feeling can be enjoyed in the mouth and nostrils.
But it has a good sharpness.
Summary.
The label says "umakuchi", but for me personally, the main taste is completely sweet.
The official website says it has a sake meter of around +3, but I felt so much sweetness that I thought, "Really? I felt such sweetness.
The rice polishing ratio is 70%, but I enjoyed the fruity flavor of a highly polished ginjo sake.
It was delicious!
