I went to buy sake directly from the brewery, using the excuse that it was the Bon Festival. It takes less than an hour to go one way. I had seen +17 at a sake store and was curious about it. The label was blue and fresh.
When I opened the bottle, the aroma was fruity, with a slight smell of cemedine. There is an air bubble at the bottom rim of the glass. The color is slightly yellowish.
The taste is fruity, then spicy, and lingers for a long time. But I don't think it is as spicy as it is described as "super spicy", though it is delicious.
It has been a long time since I have had Okutanba, but I would like to buy this again.
