I had tasted the regular version of Itky at the sake tasting booth next door and was going to buy it because it had a sweet and sour taste that I liked, but the pink label caught my eye among the Itky on the shelves.
When I picked it up, I found that it was labeled "Sweet Version.
The regular version was quite sweet, but this one was even sweeter. I had no choice but to buy it.
After a month's layover, the bottle was finally opened.
When the bottle was opened, it had a heavy sweet smell. If I had to say something, I would say apricots. It is a low alcohol, but it is not refreshing.
When you take a sip, the sweetness that reminds you of apricots spreads in your mouth first, but the sourness soon catches up with it. The sourness quickly fades away, and the sweetness remains in the mouth until the end. The combination of sourness and sweetness is a bit like lemonade. The aftertaste is slightly bitter with a hint of alcohol.
The alcohol content is 10 degrees.
Sake alcohol content is -60%.
This sake can also be chilled to a crisp and drunk in large gulps.
