Purchased at a local souvenir shop after visiting Izumo-taisha Shrine.
I had enjoyed it at a store before, so I had high expectations!
The description at the store said it was slightly dry.
The aroma was that of traditional sake, with a strong rice aroma, but it also had a fruity note.
The mouthfeel is fruity and mild, but it comes on thicker than expected. There is no bitterness at all, making it easy to drink.
It is delicious at room temperature, and I am looking forward to seeing how it will turn out when it is chilled thoroughly.
