After work before the holidays, I went to a liquor store I don't usually go to.
Okuda Sake Shop is located a little north of Hankyu Itami Station.
It is a small store with a large refrigerator in the back yard and mainly stocked one bottle of sake, so I got the impression that they focus on restaurants. I got the impression that the business was focused on restaurants.
I'll write down the brands they carry since they don't have any information on them. Mizutoki, Okura, Kurumizaka, Senzuke, Sawahime, Kamikai, Rumiko's Sake, Daishichi, Atago no Matsu, Hanaboe, Yuho, Yamahoshi, etc.
I went there for Mizutoki, but they didn't have it when I went there 😢.
It is made with red rice called Beni Roman. It is sweet but not that sweet. It has a strong bran taste. I can't say for sure because I didn't drink it, but I think last year's specs were sweeter than this year's. The acidity is as strong as I imagined.
