The first of this year's hometown tax returns... this time it's a set of Iwakuni Gozo sake and Iwakuni specialty snacks from Iwakuni City 😀.
First of all, we started with Otters, which we haven't had in a while 😀.
I haven't had Ottersai 45 in a year 😀.
Actually, a year ago, in order to get certified as a sake taster, I practiced blind tasting by randomly selecting 4 bottles of sake each day in small batches of more than 10 bottles 🤣.
I have a stupid tongue, so my answers were always different and absurd, but the only one I could figure out the brand each time was this Ottersai Jun Dai 45 😀.
Of course it was delicious, but for me it was the only sake with a unique aroma and flavor profile that I could recognize immediately 😇.
I haven't had this sake in a year, but I still have the exact same impression of this sake as I did a year ago😇.

This set of returns is moderately good, isn't it 😀.
I was a bit confused because I didn't know the other brands of sake, but Otters is the only one that I can tell the moment I sniff it and put it in my mouth, so I feel it's a strange sake 😀.
