Today it will be Banshu Aizan from Kuroemon.
This is a sake from Nagano, which has recently gained so much momentum that it is safe to say that it is the new sake kingdom 😊.
The aroma is gorgeous and apple-like. In the mouth, the sweetness and umami typical of Aizan spread out with an apple-like acidity. When you taste it thoroughly, there is also a slight bitterness as an accent. It does not have a sharpness, and there is a lingering sweetness. I guess it depends on your taste, but I prefer a little more sharpness.
I have the impression that it is quite similar to the Aizan from Kaze no Mori that I had a while ago.
It is a sake with a strong Aizan flavor, and I think it will be popular among women.
Kuroemon is also a very talented brewery that brews a wide variety of flavors.
Nagano is a place to be feared.
