I hadn't had Toyobai for a while, so I ordered it by mail order. What surprised me the most was the smoothness of the mouthfeel, which was incomparably smoother than other sake breweries without feeling any discomfort or roughness. While I was being surprised by this, a faint sweetness that reminded me of apples came next, which made me feel like I was dreaming. As I was enjoying this, a pleasant sourness came later, as if to announce the end of the dream. This time, we decided to have only apples as a snack, which was a bit challenging, but Toyobai's subtle sweetness and sourness matched the apples very well and it was delicious. After all, Toyobai is the only way to win.
