Mature dewdrops ~ Uroko~.
I visited Shimazaki Sake Brewery in early autumn last year.
It only takes a few minutes walk from Karasuyama station.
It takes only a few minutes to get to the brewery from Karasuyama station.
But to get to the cave, we borrowed a bicycle and took our time for about 20 minutes.
It is located on the side of a small mountain, and it is too far to climb up by bicycle.
We paid an admission fee of 200 yen and went inside.
It was a hot day, but it felt nice and cool at first.
After a while, I felt cold 🥶 😀.
A blessing from nature, no matter what the season.
Almost constant low-temperature-controlled (stored and matured) sake
It's so fascinating!
I only bought one bottle because I had plans for later, and it was a bit of a disappointment!
There was also a tasting at the brewery!
My impression of this sake
The color is a pale gold with a sense of maturity.
Acidity on the tongue
The umami spreading gently.
I liked it a lot!
Alcohol 17%.
Rice polishing ratio 65
Acidity 1.9
Sake meter degree +4
Yeast AZ-5
Taste 4.0

Hello Jay & Nobby 😃
The way to the cave is sweaty on a hot day. Shimazaki Sake Brewery, you could do quite a bit of tasting by yourself! Also, I highly recommend the delicious pastry shop SHIMADAYA 🐱 Please do!
