Sanzen Sakura Junmai Daiginjo Comet 45
The aroma is sweet and fruity like a daiginjo.
When you drink it, it is as easy to drink as water, and there is no cloying taste at all. The aftertaste is light and does not stick to the tongue or throat as if you are drinking very good water.
The sake itself is so delicious that it doesn't need any accompaniments. I would pair it with white meat sashimi or carpaccio.
PS: When I drank it two weeks after opening the bottle, the sweetness became much stronger and the taste was completely different. It was not watery at all, but rather, it had a sweet taste similar to that of fruit. It was a wonder.
Postscript: When I drank it 3 weeks after opening the bottle, the sweetness was gone and the taste was bland. The alcohol-like tangy sensation became stronger. It's not good when it goes this far. It was a learning experience.
Postscript: It has been four weeks since the bottle was opened. Unlike last week, the sweet taste is stronger. Why? There is a twangy alcohol taste, but the first sip is very sweet. But the end of the drink is not so good because it is very spiky.
