According to Shizukiya's website, this Hyakuda sake rice is a cross between Sango-Nishiki and Aki-Shyu No. 718, which is Akita's preferred rice for sake brewing. The sake level, acidity, and other specifications are unknown, but it still retains the deliciousness that only tashu can offer. It is a new form of one of Aomori's best sake, and it is delicious.
