Brief Sketch
The project was started in the spring of 2012 by a group of volunteers under the slogan "Let's make the best sake in Japan with all Asahikawa ingredients", with the cooperation of Asahikawa's long-established sake brewery, Takasago Brewery Co. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the "Farmer's Sake" project, which was completed after the entire process from rice planting to rice harvesting.
