It's that time of year again for Hirotogawa's nigori.
Last year I failed to open the bottle and it spilled a little, but this year I successfully avoided the problem by removing the gas and closing the bottle immediately after opening it. The moment you open the bottle, you can feel the fullness of the gas as the sake rises to the surface.
The sake itself has an elegant sweetness that fills the nose from the aroma. The taste is milky sweetness can be felt on the palate, but it is easy to drink without any unpleasant nigori (bitterness). The mild carbonation makes it easy to drink. As expected of Hirotogawa. It always satisfies me.
