Osamu
Degree of preference: ☆★★★★
Price: 1,780 yen
Nose: Slightly sweet, clean smell
Taste: At first, the fruity melon flavor stands out, with a hint of chirichiri and a slight effervescence. The aftertaste is crisp and dry, typical of sake. As the tongue becomes accustomed to the taste, the fruity notes become less noticeable and the drinkable umami is more firmly felt.
Impressions, etc.: I bought this sake out of curiosity, as it is consumed almost exclusively in Fukushima Prefecture. The moment I felt the clean fruity taste, I roared, "Fukushima indeed! I was surprised at how refreshing and fruity it was.
